About the event

Event Overview

ReCircle Society invites you to the first Redesign & Reuse, an afternoon centered on redesign, repair, reuse, and community exchange.

This event combines a hands-on Sashiko mending workshop with a free community clothing swap, creating an accessible space to learn practical skills, share resources, and extend the life of clothing together.

Whether you’re new to sewing or already love repairing garments, this is a welcoming, judgment-free space focused on progress—not perfection.

🧵 Sashiko Mending Workshop (Spots are limited)

Sashiko is a traditional Japanese stitching technique used to reinforce, repair, and visibly mend clothing. In this guided workshop, participants will learn foundational sashiko stitches and how to apply them to creative repair projects.
